 | So, Scout and I went down to see Dr. Allen today to get her hips OFA'd. Dr. Allen said that they look "really good" for a neo. Now we just have to wait and see what OFA says. I really don't care what the results are because I was really looking for Dr. Allen's thoughts. Plus I don't completely trust OFA as they said my Dane has HD and rated her a 3 on a scale of 1-4 (4 being the worst). She is over 9 years old now and still acts like a complete idiot, pulling and jumping and running. Absolutely NO hip or other joint problems whatsoever. We were going to take the baby last winter, for an ear crop to her, and we had actually made 2 appts, and couldn't make either because of the weather. Anyway, congrats.... Anne | |||

HBIC | I agree trust what she said about the hips. I have a girl that failed pennhip and at seven she still gives us a run for our money, no issues at all. The thing with OFA and Pennhip if you retake the ex rays they can pass after a fail, so do trust what the vet says. Let us know how it goes!!! | | Starr, I will definitely let you guys know what OFA says of them. I saw the x-rays myself and they are good hips. If OFA gives a poor rating I don't know if I will ever send in my results again. They already screwed up once with my Dane. I really don't care about the OFA rating, just as long as Dr. Allen thinks they are good and I can see the x-rays for myself. Thanks Michelle!
