OK.. my 20 month old male wont eat today and has vomitted twice... He has passed stools twice today, is not bloated at all and appears to have no pain in his abdomen. He is kinda laying around without much energy, which is unlike him. He jumped right up and went to eat the pizza man a little while ago and didn't seem to be in any distress then. He loves eating socks and things of that nature and has had no difficulty passing them... any ideas?

Oh I don't know...hopefully it is nothing serious. Perhaps he ate something he can't pass? I would take him in and have him checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Good luck and keep us updated!

check the inside of his mouth. if it is not moist and is tacky or sticky, he is dehydrated.
check the color inside his mouth. it should be pink.
have you called a vet? when was he wormed last.

He drank a little while ago but vomitted after.. His belly is not tender. He also does not lift it. When that pizza man knocked on the door, max went through his normal routine of body-checking the front door and then did his normal level of resisting being wrestled into the garage... He is just laying around and seems extra affectionate.
