In a good ear set, the top of the ear is level with the top of the head. In a bad, the dog looks more hound like cause the ear is set too low on the side of the head. _________________________ Nikki Agrippina Mastino
Nikki I was looking at that dog thinking I liked his ears earlier! I think Poe's problem is that her ears are too high?? Is that even possible?! It's when she's excited/alert usually but she gets these little pitbull perky ears which is what Latinmastino (I believe, sorry if that wasn't you!) was talking about.
Both of her parents are cropped so I have no way of knowing if that's just a puppy thing of if that's how she'll look. . .

The adult male pictured is Poe's first cousin, Titus, bred by Nikki and Josh out of Tavi & Gas (Munda's brother)
Another example of her family's natural ear set on Munda's side would be Poe's Aunt Kleopatra in the photo gallery.
I would wait until she is full grown we used to call my female Dumbo when we first got her and now her ears look perfect. Another reason we do look at the ears with more critism is because we are so used to seeing pictures with dogs without and until all dogs are not cropped then really it is hard to compare.
