Dilute Tea tree oil or dilute iodine sol can help (both can be toxic if too concentrated) adding in Omega 3 FA supplements can also help skin from the inside out but can take awhile to take effect. Puppy pyoderma should simply resolve with age, if it's not going away then you start to worry about potential demodex, allergies etc.
Robin, I have my dogs on supplements, including ester c, fish oil,(good quality), and vit b complex. Also get a glucosamine supplement, (synovi G 3). How much omega 3 FA should we have our dogs on? And does it differ with age... Thanks, Anne
