Noticed you have a male named Grendel. The book by John Gardenar about Grendel is a great read. Really kinda of different point of view than most books.
Hi Wendy I think I talked to you before about a puppy. Anyway glad your here. "When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world." - John Muir Cathy Walker Nova Scotia, Canada Thoroughbred Race Horses Dog Grooming
wow, you are a neo celebrity to me, i have been gazing at your site for months trying to decide on a neo. yours are so gorgeous, i went with a more local breeder but man id love a RuneStone someday! loving mama to 3 furbabies, peanut the neo, precious the great dane, paris the pitbull and 4 skin babies, parker , paxton, piper, and pearce with one on the way:)
Hello Wendy, you and I spoke several months ago, thanks for the very informative information. I am still very interested in breeding for color, love those tawny and mahogany’s. I still have a puppy reserved from the Elleto of the Thatch Roof X Bionda Del Gheno breeding, and will soon have a beautiful little boy from the Centurian Mastini Vencherro X CH Centurian Mastini Fieonna, litter.
Already having our Medusa (Nimrod of The Oaks (A.K.A.Gino) x Cecilia of The Thatch Roof) with the Bbdd genotype, I think we will have a sound foundation.
I'm sorry - I am terrible about visiting the message boards - it's almost 4 am - usually when I can't sleep I look around here.
Trang and Le - How are you? How's your family? Oscar Oscar Oscar - were you at that show in Indy? Shani - How are you? I have some questions for you... Joe - I have some questions for you too! Thanks for the compliments on my website. [i]Wendy Gieske RuneStone Neapolitan Mastiffs Visit My Site
Shani - I need to go visit your website and catch up - good luck to you too!
Thanks Julie!
Joe - thanks and I'd like to talk to you about something. Anyways - Grendel, my baby - I love the name, Grendel. But what a tragic story - I saw a movie awhile ago and it broke my heart. And then my poor Grendel - what a tragic ending to his story as well - I love the name - but I don't think I should have named him after such a tragic character. I've had three dog deaths since August - it's killing me. Along with him I lost one of the Tawny puppies, Isilya - and then just last month, my beloved Aradia after all these years. I can't talk about her yet.... I've read excerpts of that story online by Gardener - I'll have to find the book. Thank-you.
Cathy Witch Hazel - how's your girl doing from Baby Blue? I'd love to see pics. I think her brother is just south of me in Iowa about 3-4 hours away - I'd love to go see him.
Courtney - YOu're too funny! Email me! Ever heard of the Bob Dylan song (and movie) "I'm Not There?" The only thing I'll admit to being is a Gemini...talk to someone who knows me - they'll set you straight!
JIM!!! I'm sending you an email...

Thank-you - I just lost Aradia about 6 weeks ago - it's the most painful thing to happen to me since my Mom died. I loved Grim but Aradia was my baby...
And Thanks - That would have been "Butter" you saw at the IKC show. 6.5 months old - I've seen pics - I wish I could have been there!
She was at the Indy show the week before also and took reserve to the 5 point major!!! I co-own her with Cathy - the wonderful person who was showing her. I'm lucky to have found Cathy - she owns Butter's sister also. RuneStone Iron BUTTERfly and RuneStone Ivy MoonFLOWER. Flower and Butter! I think Cathy trains and shows really well - she has Great Danes, also. Her Danes are gorgeous! .....................Butter and Flower have the Bbdd Blue genotype - Cathy also owns their Tawny boy cousin, Quick Hick Cretan - hopefully someday we'll have some nice Tawnies from them!
Congrats on your wins, ALSO!
Wendy
