Coconut oil is your best bet for fatty acids, it's the most saturated "oil" found in nature. . . more so than even beef tallow. Should work great but you'll need to heat it because the "oil" is solid at room temp.
You might also want to mix some vitamin E oil in with the coconut (just don't heat the E, it will lose all it's benefits!) . . . it will help with skin conditions and is fat soluble so it should be absorbed by the body easily with the coconut oil. I've been using this for years in white block form. You dont actually have to heat it up as it melts to a very plyable clear grease on warm fingers.. It has been beneficial for the usual dry patches, and i have also used it on scarred skin, it softens the scar enough for hair to start growing through the thickened skin ... at least so the hair loss is not as noticeable ...
