We like to talk about our own dogs, but there are certain people who's egotistic attitude infuriates almost everyone...
When their dogs win something worth winning and the dog is worthy of that win most of us will stand and applause....
But when that particular dog is noticeably unworthy, then you will find people who have had 'dealings' with the owner will have their say about said person and their dog, It's not always nice, but unfortunately sometimes well derserved!

Additionally, I think there massive confusion over judging status too...
A specialist judge in my mind is as Phil describes, a reknown enthusiast, maybe a breeder, certainly a past exhibitor, someone with years of experience... Not an unknown who is a so-called 'specialist' just because he only judges one particular breed.

It would appear that not all judges have either the balls or the brains to withhold cacibs, green stars, or the reserves of same. Which is why so much rubbish in all breeds is being made up into Irish Champions, however I have it on good authority that after the Euro show the whole issue of green stars is to be revisited with the view to making that much harder again to make up an Irish Ch.
