Ive had rescue dogs not want to eat the raw meat at first but of course after a couple days of not eating they figure out that its pretty good. I dont coddle those who are in transition. I feed just about everything (ie fruits veggies and various meats) but dont feed onions, grapes and a few other toxic foods. Your dogs will get to the point that as soon as you put down the food within a few seconds its all gone. Ive never (thank God) had to have a dental on any of my dogs and they have much better breath. And best of all NO GAS ! Yay!
To start them off with liver I bake it on a sheet pan and give it to them. Gradually cooking less and less until they are good with eating such a densely rich food with no problems. Tripe should not be cooked at all.
Thank you for the info. I was expecting you to say that , he should not breed, because of it...
