Hello fellow Mastini lovers,

My name is Teri and I live on a small farm in Southern Maryland. I am new to the world of Neo's... however, I was lucky enough to fall in love w/ a wonderful Neo girl named Mia. I knew nothing of the breed when I pulled her from a local animal shelter... but the pitiful sagging wrinkles and deep golden eyes drew me in. I brought her home and nursed her back to health. (Now I'm not going to lie... those first couple of weeks were pretty rough. She was extremely malnourished and suffered from a UTI and yeast infection... not to mention she had no manners and wasn't house broken. Hell, from her behavior I don't think she had ever been in a house before! I'm pretty sure my husband's first comment was " what is that ugly thing?!" LOL!) However, it didn't take long before she became my best friend and she had stolen everyone's heart, she was beautiful on the inside and it was more of her personality than her actual outward appearance that made her so charming. She was an amazingly gentle soul, and had a knack for winning people over. We recently lost our beautiful girl to a tradegic accident and my entire family is heartbroken. The house just isn't the same w/ out that big squishy face greeting us at the door. I didn't know how I was going to pull through those first few days... I have to thank god that I was lucky enough to of have her in my life as long I did. She made such a huge impact on not only my life but that of my entire family as well. I never knew it would take a squishy face to complete our family... but it certainly did! There is a deep hole in her absence and I am desperately looking to find another Neo to help heal that void. I know that I will never be able to replace such a special girl... but I think it would help to find a new love to carry on her legacy. We are asking everyone to keep an eye out for a Neo in Need. We have so much love to offer. If anyone knows of a Neo who needs rescuing... please keep me in mind. I have many years experience working w/ all breeds of dogs. My husband is a DC firefighter and I am a self employed dog groomer, and I work from home. We have an eight year old little boy, so getting along w/ children is a must. I have worked for the local Humane Society and I also do volunteer work for the local Animal Welfare league, both of which could provide excellent references. We own five acres and have a fenced dog yard. Please feel free to contact me anytime. Thank you

Hi Teri, I am so sorry for your loss. These dogs have a way of taking your heart that no other breed is capable of. Once kissed by a wrinkly Neo face you will always have a Neo. I too will keep my eyes open for a Neo in need for you and your family.
