Bonjour Marie, welcome to UGM.
I'm the other way, my french is terrible, i usually speak English.

First and foremost choose a reputable breeder...
Look at the adult dogs they have for breeding ... The pups will eventually look like mom and dad!
If you can, take photos of the parent dogs to remind you what they look like...
Tell the breeder what you want.. ie: show quality with view to breeding at a later date...
Take someone with you who is knowledgable on the breed, or just someone who will stop you buying there and then!!!
listen to what the breeder advises you...
Try and view several litters, you will start to see differences...
Be prepared to wait!! Don't buy the first cute puppy you see, they are all cute!

Depending on exactly what you are looking for, you should make a list of things to take into account when buying...

In my opinion, colour options should be last thing to consider...
Make your list, If you tick all the boxes and a Tawney stands before you... THATS THE ONE TO BUY!!!

If you are not against shipping one in you should be able to find a nice Tawny, I agree with Karen, Color should not be the first thing you look at. Heidi of Drool n Destruction Kennels here in the states has nice Tawny's. I have seen some nice Tawny's in Italy. Try Delgheno they have Tawny's occasionally. But check out many kennels, it is not hard to ship them in. I would check other things first when looking at pups, and then color would be my last option.

Thank you for all your advices, and, yes you're right for the colour...I'ts juste because I have a preference... and I don't want a black or brindle one but grey could be great.

I've put this post because I've foud maybe 15 serious breeder on the net but I was wondering that I could have a hand to choose the right one. I've never meet one of those.

I'm waiting for your suggest!

Linda from "Filtered Word" is the next province over, I think she is good.
TDY chang is also in Ontario, I don't know what his dogs are like, but I know he's been around them for a while.
I am on the other side of you in Nova Scotia.
