If I;m not Mistaken Merlin was cleared by his vet BEFORE going into the ring.

That's the same requirement my sick or injured employees have prior to returning to work.

Don't see a problem here.

This forum is for the "good" of the breed, I wish it could stay that way and not end up like the other site.

MAstini dont usually tear ACL cause their owners are abusive. It somtimes can happen from breeding , horseplay, running downhill, jumping, falling, tripping, having weak knees some dogs are predisposed to this.

He tore his acl, when the irresponsible person caring for him, let him break out of his kennel multiple times, to breed with Delilah, who was sold pregnant.

He is desperate when there is a female in heat, I think he would rip his own leg off, if he thought it would get him some "Filtered Word"!!!

This was done cruelly, and purposfully, with someone laughing about it. How do I know?? Because the person who purchased Delilah has told me about all the calls she got, "Merlin bred her twice today", or "just once today", yeah, complete tear....

Incredible athlete before injury.....

And after

And an incredible dog, with incredible heart, and spirit...

And to the idiots that posted yesterday, that Merlin has a "bad heart", which can be confirmed by xrays.......

Medical professionals don't xray hearts, they auscultate them, or they do echocardiograms. Apparently, Merlin had a murmur as a puppy, as many do, and he out grew it, which I will search for, and post. (the echo). I will also have him examined by a cardiologist, (another professional), and have him cleared..

To those out there running their mouths... I got on the OFA database, last night, and less than 50 neos have been cleared, and just for general information, 2 of them are ours... How many are yours, Alejandro????

Oh, and yes, we, who were not responsible for Merlin being injured, love him, and made sure he has received appropriate care, and yes, WE paid for it, not the greedy person who allowed this to happen, in fact, caused it to happen..... Here's to your future in neos!!!!!!!!

Enough already Anne!
When a dog breaks out of his or her ccage to get to another dog its called an accident not greed. cmon... This stuff is getting old. And by the way you are barking up the wrong tree trying to get me to respond to your little bickering.

Yes you are absolutely right Vets and Cardiologists do Echos and Sonograms and what not. X rays are not used to check the rhythm of a heart. I think you missed the whole point. I usually thought it was Bill that was the idiot in that kennel and I didnt put you in his category but I may be wrong...
