Uuugghh! I've been trying for weeks for find a green tripe supplier who will ship to Florida at a reasonable rate. Many won't ship at all. I don't like the sound of the canned or dehydrated variety. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not sure what the actual green tripe website is. I tried texastripe.com. Good price per pound but the sales dept said it was "cost prohibitive" to ship.

Mindy - how much tripe blend do you feed per day/per pound? I am currently following this feeding formula: 80% meat, 10% bone, 5% organ and 5% tripe. Then Big Boy gets 2% of his body weight per day.

Pam,

Green tripe is expensive to ship, if you look around, you may find some more reasonable prices. I, too, was hesitant to use canned green tripe. But.... it is excellent, and the dogs do well!!! It's been a while since I have got any.

Rudy absolutely loves it!!

Good luck.

The way people talk about tripe you would think it turns the neos to gold or something.
Is it that amazing?
What exactly is it and why is green better?

I found this page really informative. I am sure there are better sites somewhere but this broke it down into layman's terms for me.
